The above error occured whilst setting the properties of a CallExternalMethod activity.     - The Identity provider end point was not found !!!!! Most likely https://www.fabrikam.com:7001/ isn't set up correctly. Do note https://www.fabrikam.com/CardSpace connects to port 443 so it's not connecting to the same port. If https://www.fabrikam.com:7001/ isn't loading for you, something isn't setup properly. This could be that the https://www.fabrikam.com:7001/ server was never started, using a different port, but the most likely case that we've seen is that the private key isn't ACLed correctly. Inside the Simple STS Sample, you'll find a tool called findprivatekey.exe. With that you can find out where the private key for your https://www.fabrikam.com:7001/ SSL certificate is located. I was trying to compile the SDK sample for the OutlookWorkflowWizard but it would not compile because it could not find the: Microsoft.Office.Interop.Outlook namespace These I believe are a part of the Office Interop assemblies. However, I cannot install these because in order to do the install, it only looks to see if you have Office 2003 installed.     - Synching pre-processed renderer, post-processed renderer, and time display Our video processing application provides two renderers; one which displays the pre-processed video, and another which displays the post-processed video. The graph looks kind of like this: Source->Tee->CSC->VMR1 (pre-processed) | +-->F1->F2->F3->F4->CSC->VMR2 (post-processed) The processing is intensive enough that VMR2 can lag behind VMR1 by a few frames on a slower machine. We are using the default sync source (system clock) for the clock and the video is uncompressed RGB with resolutions up to 720x480. Everything works great on a sufficiently fast enough system, but we will be adding to the processed stream so even faster machines may bog down. The problem we are having is that the position returned by IMediaSeeking::GetCurrentPosition is not accurate for the frame displayed in VMR2. So when the user stops the graph and then steps forward or back, the step happens at what appears to be a different point in the video and they lose their place. So the question is how can I display the time for the frame currently displayed in VMR2. Or alternatively, after the user stops, how can I get the time of the frame in VMR2 so that can adjust the display and scrub bar accordingly I tried getting IMediaSeeking on the VMR2 directly and then setting the graph current position to that time. But the time returned from VMR2 is relative to the last time it played; not stream time. So if you play for 10 seconds, stop, and then play for 2, stop and then play again, the third time you play actually starts at 2 seconds, not 12. So in summary, we need to display frame-accurate time in the time display and scrub bar based on the frame in VMR2. Any thoughts Tag: "bad certificate active X blocking" issue

    - Problem installing WSD Printer -> Error 0X00000643 Hi all, Working with some Web Services for Devices stuff, and when I install my printer driver in Vista64 through the Add Printer Wizard the first time, all goes well--the printer is discovered, a WSD Port is created for me, and it pulls-in a driver. However, sometimes when I delete that print object and discover it again later, I get a dialog box showing the cryptic error 0x00000643, with no explanation. One easy way to reproduce this is to discover the printer, then try discovering it again. The Add Printer Wizard craps out with that error. Coupla q's: - Anyone seen this behavior - If so, does anyone know what this error is related to I've turned on all the logging in the print spooler, but I don't see any indications of this error in the System log. - Extra credit--is this cryptic error message just a fact of life, or is there some way to work around it I've tried this in both a Vista64 RTM image and one with all the latest patches--it's consistent.     - Problem Getting the Frame Number... Hello, I am trying to get the current location of DVD Play Back. To achieve this I am using "IDvdInfo2. GetCurrentLocation " method. Using this method I am expecting to get the current frame. In order to step the frames I am using "IVideoFrameStep.Step" methd to step throu the DVD movie. This means I should be able to get the frame number if I step throu the movie and for every step I display the current location of the DVD movie. My finding is that is not the case as the values "timeCode.bHours, timeCode.bMinutes, timeCode.bSeconds, and timeCode.bFrames" of the "IDvdInfo2. GetCurrentLocation " method are refreshed every 14 Frames. This means the display value for the "timeCode.bFrames" which represents the current frame is stocked on the same number till is gets refresh which is every 14 steps. As a result of it a callback registered by me is invoked depending upon the number of audio devices present in the system. This approach is working perfectly find in Window's XP and 2K. Hence I loss the other device.     - Access Denied insufficient rights It sounds like the dialog is being generated by the application itself. Find the application setup file and right click on it and "run as administrator". The program may be doing some hard check on what it thinks is a good test for figuring out if it need admin rights and is getting an access denied. Also i do not think that accexplorer is not working correct. Maybe also have a look with UISpy. If it reports the same problem there is a high chance that there is something wrong with the control.     - getting a workflowcompleted before a state change notification from tracking Hello, in my state machine workflow, using the lab's "StateMachineTrackingService", i noticed that i get a "OnInstanceCompleted" just before a "OnStateExecuting" The OnStateExecuting comes from the TrackingService. OnWorkflowCompleted comes from the runtime. Setting breakpoints in the code shows me clearly that the runtime is firing the workflowcompleted before the tracking service gets the OnStateExecuting. If it's detecting issues with yahoo's site then there is nothing you can do. The tool is to be used to analyze your intranet sites and external web applications. These you have control over and can fix.

If you are getting an error on these, please post it and we will take a look.
